Happy Jumaat to all Muslim on Naijaedit!!
While playing around on social media sometimes this week, I stumbled upon a post that made me conscious of gender equality topic in Islam.
Someone needs to explain to those of us who are not very deep-rooted on this aspect of Islam and to those who are non-muslims.
See Below:-
In Islam, women seem to have no place in the fore-front of preaching the Gospel of Allah or carrying out some sacred duties the way many Alfas do.
As in, I have never seen a gathering of Muslim faithfuls led by a woman who will be preaching not to talk of leading prayers.
But I have seen many Muslim women who are even more knowledgeable in the way of Islam than some Muslim men who are Alfas.
This question for all Muslims here on Naijaedit
Why Is It That Muslims Don’t Have Women Alfas?
Does It Mean There Is Gender Inequality In Islam?
Let’s hear from you

When there are lots of ladies that comes together to pray and there is no man among them…islam permit woman to lead prayer for only women like her
It’s has been written in the two holy book
Men shall always be the head of the family
Mosque is like a family which man will have to control
However, women are not imaams because of:
1. In the whole life of prophet muhammad, their is no record where a women is an imaam or even in any leadership position
2. Women are considered as imperfect because of their emotion, so only men are allow to lead in islam
3. Women are not allowed to mingle with men, and imaam role allows such, their role is to stay at home and manage the home. However they can lead the congregation of other women but not men.
4. In the holy book, women are not considered as head over men, so it will be difficult for them to be given leadership position.
5. In islam, we follow the teachings and ways of prophet muhammad SAW and that is what we are doing now.
so its nt right 2 have woman alfa
